Journey’s End in Hancock

September 15, 2010

Since June we have been taking a weekly trip along the Lake Superior shoreline.  A trip spanning a little over 300 miles.  We were slated for one more journey this coming Sunday, but praise the Lord we don’t need to.  Not that we mind the trip, but we rejoice that Pastor Kyle has returned home early and safely from his deployment.  This Sunday he will preach his first message at Copper Country Bible Church in almost four months.  The opportunity to minister in Hancock was a pleasure for us.  We enjoyed the folks there, most of whom we got to know  in past ministry there and we were thrilled with the chance to get to know Pastor Kyle’s family better.  Our kids and theirs hit it off very well. I know they carry away from there some strong friendships.  Our prayers continue to go with the church as they move forward into the winter months.  As well, we continue to praise God for the safe travels every week, with no problems in the many miles back and forth.  We are confident God will increase the ministry in Hancock and look forward to hearing how God is working in and through Copper Country Bible Church.
