This past week our Subaru made it past another milestone.  We crossed the 295,000 mile barrier and are now working our way through the final countdown to 300,000.  As you can see in the image, we hit this mark just south of Thunder Lake Rd.  For those who don’t know the area, that is about ten miles north of where we live on M-94.   Ruth took these pictures on her way to the town of Christmas for a ladies fellowship.  The last 5,000 miles have been relatively uneventful for the vehicle.  No major problems.  Everything continues to run, getting us safely to where ever we need to be going.  Praise the Lord!  He continues to sustain and protect us and our vehicle.   Please do pray for us, though.  The car is definitely showing its age, and we know we need to replace it soon.  God graciously and wonderfully provided for us to purchase this car.  He has graciously and wonderfully protected on the many miles since then.  We know He will graciously and wonderfully provide exactly what we need when we need it.  Especially, pray for us as we travel in the snowy weather.  Since this picture was taken, the snow has increased exponentially.  The snowy roads are challenging at times, and we covet your prayers for our safety on our journeys.
