VBS Updates

July 17, 2011

This afternoon we have a brief lull between VBS programs, so I have a bit of time to fire off a quick update.  This past week we finished up an Incredible! week at Limestone Baptist Church.  We had a blessed week.  We were delighted to be joined by a couple from Faith Baptist, who helped us out during the week.  Their willingness to serve was a great encouragement to us. It was a profitable week as well.  At least one boy attended who had nearly zero knowledge about the things of God.  This week he learned of God, that God is our Holy Creator and our Loving Savior.  He learned of Christ, that when Jesus died on the cross He did so in our place.  He learned that Jesus was separated from the Father so we could be reconciled to Him.  Though he did not accept Christ during the week, we are blessed to have had a part in introducing to him basic and vital truths of God. We are praying for Pastor Jolls as he follows up on the week that some of those kids will confess Christ as their Savior.

Tonight we head north to Hancock begin an Incredible!  week with the folks at Copper Country Bible Church.  We are looking forward to seeing our ministry friends up there.  We have enjoyed the last two years ministering in their VBS  and trust God will again bless this week in the lives of kids.  Please join us as we pray for the lost to be saved and the unsaved to be strengthened in their knowledge and obedience to God’s Word.
